Gary Barlow's Requiem_盖瑞巴洛的安魂曲_Album: Since I saw you last

Gary Barlow 的第四張個人專輯: Since I saw you last，於11/2013年出版了。差不多半年，我才有時間好好聽完整張專輯。

Gary Barlow 是 take that 合唱團的主音，也就是說他已經在音樂界很多年。

我一向沒有常聽take that 的歌，說比較喜歡的一隻碟就是08年的the circus。

第一隻從Since I saw you last聽的單曲是Let me go，因為當時是Gary Barlow最先推出的主打歌。Let me go節奏輕快，卻沒有令我留下什麼印象。後來出了Since I saw you last，看到的評語都是普通什至偏差，反而引起我的好奇。

                                     

聽完整張專輯後，感覺真的比較一般，但也沒有評論說得那麼差。的而且確歌曲風格沒有太大變化，而且他高音比較響亮及尖，聽久了會有點疲倦。在碟中，Gary Barlow其實有很多心裡感受想與聽眾分享的，所以可以聽聽啊！

最令我有感受的是唱片的第一首歌: Requiem。

Requiem的中文的解釋是安魂曲。

整首歌很大器，一開始有合唱團的溫柔歌聲，然後鋼琴進入，Gary Barlow在鋼琴聲裡描寫了小雞出生與當中的主角已經死去，形成一個對比，並道出各樣生命都是建基於已逝者之中的想法(Hatches matches then dispatches/ All in the embers of my ashes)。簡單來說，就如泥土中的養份是從生物死去，分解而成，然後種子從泥裡吸收營養，茁壯成長。

安魂曲是用來懷念死者，而這首歌反而是主角叫大家不用為他傷心，因為他正在另一個很美麗的世界。那裡可以聽到朋友的歌聲(Oh my friends I hear you sing)，看到他們懷念自己(I’m really flattered that you came here to remember)，人人平等(The pawn and king both in the same box)，什至可以遇見以前的朋友(And look I made the news again/In Requiem, with all my friends)。整首歌反轉了人平時對死亡慣有的恐懼，要聽眾明白死亡是必然，所以應該珍惜現有時間去做些事情，好好生活，(You’ll die when you see my new face but/ Do the time /You’re in for life)，好讓後人能得益，而不是浪費時間於害怕死亡。
